MAKING NATURAL FOOD COLORS

This project is designed to introduce children to tinting icing using natural ingredients like fruit, spices and vegetables as an alternative to prepared food colors. CUPCAKE CHEMISTRY

An introduction to the science of baking, children will make four different cupcakes, omitting one ingredient in each. They will also experiment with the Wilton Treatology Flavor System to create different icing flavors from the same icing recipe, which they’ll use to top off their cupcakes.
